Our Mission: promotion of inclusive and equitable lifelong learning through educational, vocational and business trainings; consultancy services; use of modern learning technology; and collaboration with resource persons and organizations.

Our Vision: to become a leading private sector contributor to lifelong learning in Kano State, the most populous state in Nigeria.

Penmark Academy for Lifelong Learning provides educational, consultancy and training services in collaboration with other specialists in the areas of English Language, academic and project writing, research methods, online business, vocational training and business administration, etc. Our services include the following:

  • We edit manuscripts, create index and publish books.
  • Our English courses are meant to enhance your ability to speak and write English proficiently. There are separate courses for beginners, secondary school students and students of tertiary institutions as well as graduates seeking to improve their English language skills.
  • Our training on academic writing and research methods are meant for lecturers/teachers and researchers interested in mastering the techniques of writing books, research proposals, thesis, journal articles and conference papers.
  • Our training on online business, entrepreneurship and business administration, etc, are for the general public interested in becoming entrepreneurs or improving their business practices. In this regard, our languages of instructions include English and Hausa depending on the types of clients needing our services.
  • Our resources persons come from different backgrounds and institutions of learning depending on the type and level of training to be conducted and the fees to be charged.
  • The Founder and Director of the Academy, Sa’idu Sulaiman, is a retired Economics lecturer, prolific author and the former Editor-in-Chief of the Kano Journal of Arts and Social Sciences (KAJASS) and the Kumbotso Teacher Educator Journal (KUTEJ).
  •  Our door is open for other kinds of training based on requests, negotiations and agreements.
